Commissioning a portrait is an enjoyable, collaborative experience. You will be participating in the creation a work of art with long-lasting resonance that defines who you are. It can be a treat to yourself, or a gift to commemorate a special event or anniversary.
The majority of our 19 emerging – and a number of award-winning – artists accept commissions. With so many to choose from, you can find a style that appeals to you at a reasonable price, which varies from artist to artist and takes into account size of artwork and materials.
In some cases, payments may be spread over a period of months.
Commissions are undertaken from life or from a combination of life and photographs. Each artist works slightly differently and all can be flexible to accommodate the sitter’s availability.
